Status Kristy Live, laugh, love and pray your butt off!!!! About Me People say I'm: good hearted and kind, honest beyond reason and always willing to help out. Describe Yourself: I am a mother first of all. I feel very blessed to have a very sweet teenager, who still likes me so far, so I must be doing something right. I have a good work ethic and try my best to just be a good person. I have struggled and been through some very tough times so I am very grateful for every day that I wake up. I love life and find joy out of the little things. On Gather, I'm Looking For ...: friendship and the chance to communicate with new people, to share ideas and a few laughs. Interests Lately I've been listening to: Country, oldies, and contemporary Christian I'm currently reading: Pass it On, a James Patterson hardcover, and the Bible The last movie I watched was: Not sure. Can't sit still long enough! My must-see show is: ER- NO ONE can call when it is on. I'd love to visit: Australia I'm curious about: Everything!! Topping my Wish List is: To go back to school to recieve my RN degree Favorite Books, Writers, Genres: I love anything to do with medicine or mystery. I love Robin Cook, Patricia Cornwell and Sara Paretsky- but who has time to read? Favorite Movies, Actors, Genres: The Bucket List, The Green Mile, and To Kill a Mockingbird are right on the top of my list. I adore Patrick Swayze and Anthony Hopkins. Favorite TV Shows, Actors: I usually only watch health-based shows on the Discovery channel. I am guilty of occasionally watching an American Idol episode now and then. Favorite Places: Sitting and watching nature, preferably by the river. Interests and Activities: I am a die-hard, loyal, loving and very FORGIVING Cubs fan. I have recently tried to learn how to golf (little tip- being able to play Put-Put means nothing!!) In my younger years, my love of animals drove me to become active in animal rights. But now-a-days, I concentrate most on my daughter and living each day to its fullest, what ever that may be. Wish List: To look like a supermodel. Ok since that will never happen, my only real wish is to leave this world just a little better and make a difference in someone's life. "Prayitudes": This week I am grateful to be surrounded by my family and even have fun while folding laundry or going on a Wal-Mart trip for the hundredth time this weekend!!
